Our Story

Founded on a Conviction: Clean Energy Needs Reliable Infrastructure

In 2014, the Chinese EV market was in its earliest commercial phase. Battery-electric vehicles were a government priority, but the infrastructure to support them was fragmented, unreliable, and dominated by a small number of state-owned operators with no export ambition. The commercial opportunity for a privately-owned, export-oriented EV charging manufacturer was clear to our founder — but so was the challenge.

Klitv was established in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, with a specific mandate: build EV charging equipment to the same electrical engineering standards expected of industrial power equipment, not the consumer-grade standards that characterised much of the early Chinese charging market. From day one, every product was engineered to pass third-party electrical safety testing — hi-pot, insulation resistance, ground continuity — not because a customer demanded it, but because we understood that EV infrastructure operating at high voltages in public environments had no room for shortcuts.

Our first international order shipped in 2016: a batch of AC Level 2 chargers to a Southeast Asian distributor who had been unable to find Chinese-made equipment with adequate export documentation. That order defined our model — a factory that treats international B2B buyers as the primary customer, not an afterthought.

A decade later, Klitv supplies EV charging equipment to distributors, fleet operators, parking developers, and government infrastructure programmes in more than 40 countries. Our product range has expanded from 7 kW AC wall boxes to 720 kW liquid-cooled superchargers. Our engineering team has grown to include power electronics specialists, firmware engineers, and IEC standards compliance experts. But the founding principle has not changed: every unit leaves this factory with documented proof that it meets the safety standards we claim.

SMT & PCB Assembly

Automated SMT production line with AOI (automated optical inspection) and X-ray verification for multi-layer control boards and power module sub-assemblies.

Final Assembly & Wiring

Three dedicated final assembly lines — one for AC wall boxes and pedestal units, one for DC fast chargers (20–180 kW), and one for ultra-high-power liquid-cooled units (320 kW+).

100% Electrical Safety Testing

Dedicated test stations on every line. Hi-pot, insulation resistance, ground continuity, and full-load operational test performed on every unit before packaging. Test data logged per serial number.

Weathering & Environmental Test Chamber

On-site environmental test chamber for IP rating validation, temperature cycling (-25°C to +60°C), and humidity resistance testing on production samples.

2014

Founded

Established in Zhengzhou as a precision electronics manufacturing company specialising in EV charging equipment. First products: 7 kW AC wall boxes for domestic clients.

2016

First Export Order

Shipped the first international batch of AC Level 2 chargers to a Southeast Asian EV distributor, marking the start of our B2B export business.

2018

CE & IEC 61851 Certification

Achieved CE marking and IEC 61851 compliance across our core AC and DC product lines, enabling direct supply to European and Middle Eastern EV infrastructure buyers.

2020

DC Fast Charger Launch

Expanded production to include 60–180 kW DC fast chargers with multi-connector support (CCS1/2, CHAdeMO, GB/T), targeting highway and fleet markets.

2022

ISO 9001:2015 Certification

Completed ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification, formalising documented quality processes across all production lines and export operations.

Liquid Cooling Supercharger Launch

PCB Assembly & Power Module Integration

Automated SMT and through-hole PCB assembly for control boards and power modules, with automated optical inspection (AOI) and functional testing at every stage.

100% Electrical Safety Testing

Every unit passes hi-pot (dielectric withstand), insulation resistance, ground continuity, and full-load operational testing before packaging. Test records retained per serial number.

Certified Components & Enclosures

We source IEC-certified connectors, UL-listed cables, IP-rated enclosures (IP54/IP65/IP66), and CE-compliant power components verified for reliability and safety compliance.

Export Documentation

Complete export packages: commercial invoice, packing list, COO, CE Declaration of Conformity, IEC 61851 test reports, and destination-country certificates as required.
